Practical Pathways to Parent-Teacher Partnerships in Montessori

from $5.00

Join the Montessori Network of New Mexico for a thought-provoking Reading Roundtable featuring Dorothy Sapp Harmon, author of Intentional Connections: A Practical Guide to Parent Engagement

DATE: August 16th, 2025   9am-10:30am MT

VENUE: Virtual (Zoom)

Join the Montessori Network of New Mexico on August 16 for a virtual Reading Roundtable featuring Dorothy Harman, a highly credentialed Montessori educator, published author, and national speaker with extensive experience and deep commitment to the field.

Dorothy, who holds AMS Early Childhood and CGMS Infant and Toddler Montessori certifications and serves as an Instructional Guide and Adjunct Lecturer, will share research-based strategies for intentionally building strong parent-teacher partnerships—a cornerstone of Montessori education. Drawing from her influential books and practical experience, Dorothy will offer actionable tools for effective parent-teacher conferences, discussing successes and challenges, newsletter writing, parent education, at-home volunteerism, and easy-to-implement parent/child activities, all underscored by research from the National Coalition for Parent Involvement in Education and Dr. Montessori’s vision of connectedness.

This session is ideal for educators and school leaders seeking to foster meaningful, impactful relationships with families in the Montessori community.
