Reflecting our Community: Respectful Representation of Indigenous Cultures
Join us on April 12th from 9 AM to 12 PM for a transformative panel discussion, "Reflecting our Community: Respectful Representation of Indigenous Cultures," featuring five esteemed speakers.
This event is designed for Montessori and other educators seeking to integrate culturally responsive practices into their teaching. In New Mexico, where Indigenous cultures are deeply rooted, this panel is crucial for fostering a liberatory education that honors and uplifts Indigenous knowledge and traditions.
After our panel discussion, participants will engage in an interactive session, receive valuable resources, and have opportunities for networking.
A certificate of attendance will be provided for 3 hours of professional development. Light refreshments will be served, and we encourage you to arrive early to maximize networking opportunities.
Time: 9am - 12pm
Location: Montessori One Academy, 9360 Holly Ave NE, Albuquerque, NM 87122
Cost: $50
We will have snacks along with fidgets for allowing our bodies to move while we learn!
